What will I be taught in this course?

Going beyong the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC)

The Emergency Services can use an Exemption to the standard 'Drone Laws' in certain circumstances. We teach you what you can do, when you can do it, and what you need to do to stay legal.

  • Thermal Imagery

Deciphering a thermal image requires knowledge and practice. We teach you the theory behind thermal imagery, things to look out for and best practice when using infrared technology.

  • Missing Persons

Searching for a missing person using a drone is not just about putting your drone up and hoping for the best. You need to plan, coordinate and be as accurate in your search as possible. We give you best practices and guidance for missing person search operations.
